Student-Teachers of Love.
A few months ago, my dad turned me onto these daily emails that he subscribes to from www.tut.com. They are personalized messages...get this...from the universe! How awesome is that!?!
Each day they come in, its like receiving a divine pep talk from ALL THAT IS...it's like I have a cosmic cheerleader there for me, everyday, always greeting me with each new day with a note of inspiration!
Today's message really reminded me of Matt, as he was such a graceful and humble teacher...sending his message through his daily interactions and conversations. He lived that being love is really very simple. It doesn't take much, just being present to the love in each moment.
Today's message also got me excited, yet again, at the realization that the planet as a whole is awakening and understanding more of life's sacred secrets. These are powerful times.
So, here is my magic message for the day, enjoy! and sign up for your own personalized messages, if you feel so moved:
"You know what's kind of wild, Dawn? At this very crossroads of time and space, more than ever before, there are so many billions of people yearning to awaken and understand the truth about themselves, their divinity, and the magic.
You know what else is kind of wild? Those who are actually living these truths, leading with the example of their lives, and healing those in need through simple conversation.

LoVE Community
Life for me right now is so peaceful and fulfilling. I am blessed with a beautiful life and amazing people to share it with.
I spent this past weekend in the forests of Idyllwild, CA with 16 close friends to celebrate a birthday for a dear friend! We all stayed in a big house - all rotating the cooking and the cleaning for our big meals, going for a gorgeous day hike on Saturday, and playing games in a huge circle around the living room in the evenings! It was a wonderful opportunity for us all to share in the lives of our friends.
Monday, I was in the studio of another amazing friend, recording a song for Vallie Gilley's Feeding the Soul Cookbook CD. Everything about the studio experience was so dreamy...i can barely say enough. It was a perfect day, lots of talented female artists were also recording throughout the day, and for dinner, we all shared a delicious vegan meal prepared by Vallie. AHHH, just perfection!
Then on Tuesday, I had band practice! I love saying that! And my guys are just so fun to play with. We are all learning about each other so much more and really bringing the music into focus with each week we get together.
So many other amazing things happened...enjoyable lunches and dinners with amazing people, a giant cup making day with awesome friends, a trip to Anza-Borrego desert to see the wildflowers...i mean, seriously! Its been an epic week...all while the days are getting longer and warmer!
My point is...i am in complete gratitude for every single person in my life that gives me the opportunity to show up for them in a positive way, and give my love to them. And of course to receive theirs! its not just that i get to DO these great things with great people, but there is an intention behind all of it - that i'm bringing - of being committed to nurturing every moment with possibility and presence. its not always there...as i do have many moments of distraction, but for the most part, i find when i am giving that, it spreads. And when I look around my community, I see that everyone is helping to raise each other up!
So...Love is...showing up as best you can to take you and those around you...higher and higher!

LoVE Family
Its been a few weeks now since the first San Diego LoVE Foundation event benefit concert, though not too late to share the magic.
Event Goddess, Melissa Grove, along with volunteers, friends, artists and musicians from our Radtastic community, put on one AMAZING, heartfelt benefit concert event on February 28th. Alex Woodard, Alysse Fischer, Dawn Mitschele, Bushwalla, Jason Mraz and the Voices of Prayze all collaborated to put on this seemless evening of extraordinary LoVE!
Matt's whole family was there, sharing in the celebration and honoring of his life. There were tears, and there was laughter. There were love signs, and love songs and loving moments of genuine generosity from the performers and the audience. It truly was a highly vibrating experience for all! And we have the pictures to prove it!
While I was up on stage, I took a few snapshots of the audience during Bushwalla's "Ghetto Blaster." Some believe that when we are vibrating at a high enough frequency, our angels and guides show up in pictures around us, resembling orbs filled with beautiful light. See for yourself...
I would like to thank everyone who attended this event for showing up and showing LoVE. We raised over $4,000 that evening with proceeds going to the Matt Wadleigh LoVE Foundation and Oxfam for Haiti.
